Chinfat: Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2017 - Preferences and Project Settings

YouTuber, Chinfat, published the beginning of a new series on Premiere Pro CC 2017. In this first episode he goes over all the essentials you need to know to setup a project in Premiere Pro. He goes over everything from the opening splash screen to preferences and project settings. Much of this is not new, making this a great video to learn the project settings of Premiere Pro. But Chinfat does speak to several things specific to Premiere Pro CC 2017. For example, Chinfat covers the new "Project Locking" Preferences that prevents the project from being opened by more than one user at a time.

VideoRevealed: Simple White Balance Fix in Adobe Premiere Pro

In this video tutorial, Colin Smith of VideoRevealed gives us tour of the WB (White Balance) Selector in the Lumetri Color Panel in Premiere Pro CC. Learn how to white balance a shot using the the eyedropper, and then finesse the results using the Temperature and Tint sliders. Colin also reveals a handy keyboard shortcut to sample a larger area with the white balance eyedropper.

The White Balance Selector in the latest version of Adobe Premiere Pro makes white balance a one click job. The auto setting adjusts the Temperature and Tint controls which means is doing the same thing a professional colorist would do to get a neutral video! —VideoRevealed

Tall Guy Films: DNxHR Performance in Premiere Pro CC 2017

How good is the newly added native QuickTime DNxHD / DNxHR support in Premiere Pro CC 2017? Tall Guy Films shares the results of his tests, and based on the video thumbnail, it's not a spoiler to say it's impressive. Whether or not you experience the same results using the native QuickTime Avid codecs in Premiere Pro CC 2017, the important thing is Adobe has listened to the needs of it's customers. This is a big win for Windows users in particular!

Adobe: VoCo Sneak Peek at Adobe MAX

Adobe has unveiled a new project at Adobe MAX called "VoCo" that will allow audio and video editors to "photoshop voiceovers". Watch this hilarious demo of VoCo, seen here in Adobe Audition, converting text to speech based on recorded dialogue. THIS IS NOT A ROBOT VOICE! VoCo can actually rearrange, subtract or add words in a human voiceover track. Watch the video to see it in action with guest Jordan Peele.
