Adobe has announced the Speech to Text feature will be discontinued in future versions of Premiere Pro. You can continue using this tool in previous CC versions of Premiere (multiple versions of Premiere Pro can be installed simultaneously) and all existing metadata will continue to be supported. This is a disappointing announcement for those Premiere Pro users who were anticipating enhancements to this tool which had so much potential.
